Wow, is it hot outside! We are definitely in the heat of the summer both outside and here at St. Paul.

Our St. Paul children as well as our neighborhood friends have just gotten back from an African safari! We learned through the Lord’s Prayer that God Listens, God Provides, God Forgives, God Protects, and God Rules. We also learned some great songs, ate some really amazing food and made keepsakes that will help remind us of our adventure. We as a church family touched about 70 kids throughout our safari week. It is impossible to know the impact our time together had in those young people’s lives. Thank you to all those who donated supplies, helped prepare craft materials, set-up/decorated the church, and especially those who showed up each night giving every last bit of energy to our kids. I appreciate you all very much!

As summer vacation comes to a close and the school year looms we look forward to starting a new curriculum series in September and having another great year in children’s ministry.
