What is a Health Ministry?

The health Ministry program at St. Paul integrates faith and health. Within our faith community, our Health Ministry program promotes healing and health for our members and the community we serve. It is an integral part of the ministry of the church, promoting physical, emotional, social and spiritual well-being. We come together to share the compassionate love and grace of Jesus Christ.

Heath Ministry Mission Statement

To share the healing presence of Christ with the St. Paul congregation and surrounding community by encouraging, empowering and enabling individuals in their health awareness and holistic journey.

You do not have to be a health professional to volunteer for the Health Ministry Team! We welcome anyone who has an interest in reaching out to one another. Opportunities include giving one on one support, driving someone to an appointment or to the grocery store, assisting with a meal, or simply sending a card. These can give a great measure of comfort to someone in need. Assistance during a difficult experience can be a faith enhancing time for both the recipient and the caregiver.

Please contact the church office for information on how to get involved.
